I posted some furniture for sale on CL. I’ve gotten this email in response to two different posts:
I live in sfbay too and I needed to email and tell you that you don’t have to get rid of your items to be able to put food on the table. I know it probably hurts to have to let go of your posessions and I get what it’s like to feel down in this crisis. Last month I had no choice but to get rid of my daughter’s Playstation just to make our next payment. Those were most definitely the most depressing times for my family.
My stepdad was recently made redundant due to the economy. However, he has found out an easy way to make a career on-line from a news article he found and it truly helped me to sort myself out. I could not believe he’d share this at all, and I felt I should come back and pass it to people who could be having issues in these hard times. I truly believe that it is worth 60 seconds of your day.
Oh yes, here is the blog (link deleted by me)
I hope that is of interest. Don’t forget to tell your family!
I think my favorite part is how selling a Playstation was the most depressing times for his family. Awww…
The strange thing is that Gmail didn’t catch it as spam, which is weird since it’s normally great at that. But Mail.app, which doesn’t have the greatest spam filter in the world, did catch it.
